Sandblasting and blasting

Sandblasting is a dry abrasive process in which a stream of abrasive particles is forcefully ejected onto the surface, usually using compressed air or turbine. The purpose is to prepare the surface for anti-corrosion coating by removing the layer of rust, scale, scale or other type of deposit on the surface. This operation separates particles from both the layer being removed and the metal surface being treated.
