Cyclones and spark extinguishers

Cyclones are the primary means of separating and capturing larger particulates and effluents.

They are often placed before the filter itself to extend the life of the consumables inside.

They are used as spark arrestors (in plasma and laser cutting machines). They are an ideal addition to fume hoods that do not have sufficient flow or filtration area for effective dust containment. In this case, primary separation with cyclone gives the necessary efficiency and improves the situation.
