Grinding and polishing

The dust generated during the grinding and polishing process is airborne and causes harmful side effects on the health of operators and surrounding personnel. Metal grinding dust can be inhaled when broken down into particles as small as 5 microns.

These particles can enter and lodge deep in the lungs, leading to impaired lung function and possible lung disease. The key to dust control is to capture and isolate dust before it reaches the breathing zones of the operator or other nearby employees.
